What is Core Aeration?
Core aeration is a type of lawn aeration whereby a machine (a lawn aerator) with hollow tines mechanically removes plugs or "cores" of soil and thatch from a lawn. Core aeration reduces soil compaction, creating a channel through which oxygen, water and nutrients can penetrate into the soil.
Weed Control and Fertilization
Weed control is the botanical component of pest control. At Turf Masters Lawn and Landscape, we use physical and chemical methods to stop weeds from reaching a mature stage of growth when they could be harmful to domesticated plants, livestock, and yards. In order to reduce weed growth, many "weed control" strategies have been developed in order to contain the growth and spread of weeds.
